An original set of (2) production cels from the MGM Studios animated short film The First Bad Man (1955). The short was directed by Tex Avery, with characters that were designed by Ed Benedict, who also designed the Flintstones. The cels feature a red-haired caveman dragging a woman while being followed by Dinosaur Dan carrying all the women he’s stolen. Measuring 11”x38” overall, and with the character images measuring 4.5”x6.25” and 5.5”x11.5” respectively, the piece is in good condition with paint damage in the image of the red-haired caveman. The setup has been paired with a color copy background for presentation purposes.
